Minister wishnutama said the tourism grant will be distributed via transfer to the intended area through the local government. In addition, the grant is allocated to tourism sector businesses such as hotels and restaurants in 101 priority district cities. “That is the capital of 34 provisions, located in 10 priority destinations and 5 super priority destinations, areas that include 100 calender of events, branding destinations, as well as areas with income from hotel and restaurant taxes of at least 15% of the total PAD for the 2019 fiscal year,” wishnutama said. The assistance in the form of tourism grants is an additional fresh wind for tourism players in Indonesia affected by COVID-19. Furthermore, Wishnutama hopes that tourism players make the best use of the grant stipulated beyond the incentives given earlier.
